Either will open the file.)

>Follow-up Ideas

  • Search the Bible for other references to add/ing/ed; take away; multiply/ied; share/d etc.
    • Start by using class Bibles and suggest that the pupils start at Genesis and work their way through to Revelation!
    • Ask a member of the local clergy to visit the class to show how s/he finds relevant Bible passages by using a concordance. Demonstrate how to use the concordance and give each group time to find passages using this method.
    • Then compare it with using an online 'Keyword Search' facility on Bible Gateway www.biblegateway.com. Compare searching through the Bible with using a concordance, and compare using a concordance with using an online search facility.
  • Create a dramatic presentation of the Parable of the Sower and present it in a whole school assembly.
  • Design the front page of a newspaper to record some of the amazing scenes recorded in Acts 2-4. Again it could be helpful and interesting to use Bible Gateway to view the different translations. For simple help sheets in creating a newspaper front page using MS Word, please visit itteam.powys.gov.uk and go to the Documents section, select 'Information Technology' followed by 'Newspaper'.
  • Write and present prayers for the safety of those working for relief agencies in dangerous parts of the world.
  • Grow your cress from seeds - watch and record the growth
